Over the years Marreyt Classics can rightly claim, after so many passed through our hands to restore or/and to sell to our international clientele, to be a Jaguar E-type specialist.

Also positive is the fact that this chassis number 1 E 11408 left the Jaguar factory on the 2-nd of September 1965 and was registered on the 15-th of the same month, which is excellent news, because for many classic car rallies and events the limit date is 1965.

According to the Jaguar Heritage Certificate as with many E-types also this OTS E-type was initially sold new tot he USA (Texas) and found her way back to Europe (Belgium) later in life, where the sportscar benefitted from a thorough nut & bolt restoration by a well reputed Dutch classic Jaguar specialist, who respected rigorously the authenticity of the S1 model and selected the period correct and very attractive “Golden Sand” with beige upholstery colour combination.

This restoration has been described and documented in 2018 by a professional expertise and valuation, and, more important, very recently double checked and approved by our own very experienced classic car workshop.

The very nice “Indian Summer” we enjoy at the moment allowed us to take this Jaguar E-type out for testdriving and demonstration runs. The immediate WOW-feeling when driving this Jaguar confirms the car’s obvious excellent quality.
