Grand Sport Dubos Coupé RHD Believed to be one of the only two 4,5 liter Grand Prix chassis, of which only 26 were ever produced, with Dubos coachwork. Very performant car, thanks to the mighty 6 cylinder engine with Twin Cam shafts and triple carburettor layout. In 1950, two identical chassis took 1st and 2nd place in Le Mans 24h race ! Fitted with typical WILSON preselect gearbox for this model. Sold new to Roger Barlow in California, by whom the period photograph is taken and stayed overthere until this T26 became part of an exlusive Belgian collection. Very well documented, nut & bolt, no expense spared restoration by renowned specialist in California USA. Proper tune-up executed in specialised workshop in Belgium. This very rare short chassis Coupé, with fantastic looking Dubos coachwork, is very distinctive and has an agressive competition feeling that grows on you as you study its shape from different angles. It naturally would be wellcomed at many concours events around the world and should be eligible for many competition events such as the Mille Miglia.
