AC Bristol

Having seen them in the last couple of years regularly around in our specialised classic car workshop, I started to like these sportscars very much. The combination of the beautifully engineered tubular chassis (TOJEIRO) with the elegant light alloy barchetta body combined with the smooth power of the (ex-BMW 328) Bristol 6 cylinder, has resulted in "an all times great" sportscar. BEX 382 was initially sold to the USA where this sportscar had an interesting racing history first with Bristol 6 in line power, later also with a Ford 289 V8 transplant. At its return in the UK, this AC was put back in standard configuration by re-installing a correct 100 D2 Bristol engine. At the same time this AC benefitted also from a chassis-up rebuild by leading AC specialists. This work is very well documented. The result now is a very attractive AC Bristol with excellent presentation inside out and in tip top mechanical condition. Seated in the lovely patinated black leather bucket seats, hearing the sound of the lovely Bristol engine and feeling this sexy machine "move", you can only conclude this AC Bristol is just right ! With this sportscar comes besides the history and restoration file, also a full FIA passport and UK registration documents. You have noticed it : a lot of qualities for a fair price.
