Well, you might find this a strange comparison, but I consider this Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider as 'La Dolce Vita' on 4 wheels! First we have the harmoniously very well balanced lines penned by design genius Pininfarina which resulted into this perfect 50-ies spider sportscar. Secondly this Alfa Romeo is from the mechanical concept point of view truly a little jewel. Full aluminium twin cam 1300 cc engine fed by 2 double Weber carburettors which produces a very healthy 90 HP coupled to a smooth 5 speed gearbox. Absolutely revolutionary for its time! Thirdly comes the driving pleasure which is just fantastic. Sporty and globally very nimble behaviour, good seating position (even for tall people), excellent visibility and wind protection tanks to the curved panoramic windscreen and... what a beautiful Alfa sound! This specific Giulietta Spider is in super sound condition with fair paint, has nicely trimmed red with black piping vinyl upholstery, practically new double duck hood, all correct instruments, nice chrome but with some items which could benefit from re-chroming and excellent mechanics. After testing this Alfa Romeo on the road our conclusion is an absolutely positive one, because she really drives as a Giulietta Spider should. Fun from start to arrival! This Giulietta allows you either to start enjoying immediately 'la dolce vita' as such or would represent the perfect basis for an easy cosmetic upgrade.
