Chassis : 11834 Vanden Plas : 3219 In the Speed 20 Vanden Plas collection, I recently imported from California, this SB Tourer is offering the best compromise between styling and advanced technology. This tourer reflects the light and sporty coachbuild design of the early thirties but offers the driver allready the advantage of independant front suspension and full synchromesh gearchange. Inspecting this elegant tourer, confirms the immediate impression of sound robustness of the whole car.The wooden body structure has very well aged over the years in the dry Californian climate and so have all the aluminium and steel panels. All instrumentation is complete and the whole mechanical set up makes us believe that on that side, also one will not encounter big problems when starting this beauty up, after her long immobilisation. Another tempting project, that is for sure !
