Aston Martin DB2

Original belgian car. Imported when new by Mannes, official Aston Martin distributor in Brussels. I know this DB2 for quite some time now and followed up with great interest her in depth restoration last year by one of my colleagues. The result is, as you can see from the photographs, a splendid car in perfect nick ! Somewhere in the past, the original but not very powerful, 2,6L 6 cylinder engine was replaced by a mighty Jaguar 3,8L 6 cylinder engine + "Moss" drivetrain which offers allmost twice the power and the benefit of an overdrive. The result is a very performant car with sporty, well balanced road behaviour. In fact, I must admit she is with no doubt the best DB2 I have ever driven! This DB2 convertible with immaculate presentation inside-out and muscle mechanics, must be the ultimate Aston drivers' dream I am sure...Your dream maybe ?
