I am very proud to have been able to find yet another DB2 DHC which I can offer for sale. This car with chassis nr LML 50/91, has been sold new to a french customer in April 1952 through the Paris Aston Martin distributor (Majestic Motors). RHD as most of the early Astons, but with Speedo originally in KM. This DB2 had a few, rather wellknown french proprietors and for the last 25 years a long term english owner. All of them kept with the car an impressive history file which has allways been transmitted to the nextone and which comes now also with the DB2. Some charming period black/white and early colour photographs including some, picturing this DB2 DHC racing in Le Mans and in Silverstone, looking a bit battered, but clearly painting out that these sportscars felt also at ease on the track. Properly restored, a couple of years ago into the original colour combination of Boticelli blue and black leather interior, this Aston looks still very attractive. Over the years the 2.6 L 6-cylinder has been upgraded to 3.0 L and all of this work is very well documented in the history file. I am sure that this charming Aston Martin DB2 DHC will be quickly someones pride and joy at a reasonable 95.000 euro.
