Fiat 8V Zagato - chassis 65

Amongst the only 114 Fiat 8V built, this Zagato coachbuilt version, is absolutely unique because it is the only Ottovu built in RHD. These exclusive and very competitive sportscars were real winners in their days. This statement is convincingly proven with brio by this 8V in particular because she has amassed in 1955 and 1956 quite an impressive palmares in well known events, amongst which an outright win on 11 September 1955 at Monza during the Coppa Inter Europa. Chassis 65 has been for many years in the property of the Zagato family and competed in the hands of Andrea Zagato several times at the Mille Miglia retrospective runs. This 8V has an extremely well documented history with many unpublished black/white photographs showing the car in action during various races. This 8V with exceptional neat Zagato coachwork is at present in super restored condition with fabulous mechanical tune-up by renown specialist. In my opinion : Paganini virtuosity on the road !
