Fiat Topolino Giardiniera

Now that I have during winter no work at all in my garden, I have nevertheless instantly fallen in love with this cute Giardiniera from Fiat. Being from 1950, this charming country estate is built in wood in contrast with later models where woody-style pressed steel panels were used to create a simular appearance. Imported by one of my good Belgian classic car friends with Italian roots, this Giardiniera with south Italian origine, arrived in Belgium already 25 years ago. He restored the car with great care from top to bottom and made sure everything was as it should. Exhibited for many years in his Fiat/Lancia showroom, this little Topolino was hardly ever driven. I had as soon as I could a drive in her around my country side village and was amazed by the reasonable good power this little 569 cc, 4 cylinder engine could develop and by the healthy overall road behaviour of this Fiat. I had the chance to buy all sorts of woodies in my classic car career, but I do not feel one charmed me that much as this Topolino Giardiniera. I am not really keen to sell this little beauty right away, unless you twist my arm ? Price : offers please.
