Lancia Aurelia B24S Convertible 1956 LHD Chassis: B24S 1259 Engine: B24 1392 My classic car friends will not be surprised to see yet another B24 Convertible arrive into my stocklist. Indeed I could not resist this baby blue Lancia B24 Convertible when an Italian Lancia friend of mine came across this freshly restored beauty in the North of Italy. Being from 1956 this is a very early B24 which can be recognised at the windscreen chrome surround, seats similar to the B24 Spider, and the position of the fuel tank. In 2009 this Lancia benefitted from a full professional restoration very well documented by many, many photographs showing clearly all the different steps of this enormous job, starting with a bare metal body and finishing with a glossy, very attractive B24 Convertible in baby blue with beige leather trim. This Lancia obtained the much coveted ASI Targa D'Oro Identity Certificate + the gold plate which she wears proudly on het front radiator grille. The ID Card also mentions this in-depth restoration and respect for original configuration. More and more classic car enthusiasts realise that besides the timeless beauty of this Pininfarina design the Lancia B24 Convertible also is a technologically very advanced cabriolet, which offers excellent performances and great comfort.
