Vauxhall 30/98 Wensum Tourer 1925 RHD This vintage Tourer has it all! Beauty - Power - Rarity. The 30/98 was Vauxhall's topmodel and only 599 examples were produced. Most of them found their way to Australia where a very active Vauxhall agent succeeded in selling a great number of 30/98. Amongst those also chassis OE 162, which probably, Vauxhall apparently didn't keep records on how each chassis was coachbuilt, was shipped over as a roling chassis and coachbuilt in Australia. In the 60-ies this particular 30/98 came back to the UK where it could be seen as a regular competitor in VSCC events wearing at that time a beautifully elegant, sporty and light Wensum Tourer body. In the successive years very well reputed Vauxhall specialists in the UK took care of a complete rebuild of chassis (using a replacement chassis provided by the Owners Club) and mechanics.
