Bugatti Brescia

  Bugatti T23 Brescia 1924 RHD   When I say that Bugatti is the most exclusive car manufacturer, I know I am stating the obvious. I would like to go just another step further in my search for exclusivity and state that a totally original Bugatti is the most exclusive car one can dream of. Dream no further I have found this totally original Bugatti for you! This Bugatti T23 Brescia was delivered in May 1924 as a chassis with carrosserie provisoire to Bugatti dealer/agent José Ferrareida in Porto/Portugal after which a Portugese coachbuilder did cloth this chassis with a handsome full aluminium open 3 seater body with Papillon wings. From the first owner, who registered his Bugatti in August 1925, until today there were only 4 owners, owning this Bugatti respectively, 19, 2, 18 and 50 years! All these years this Bugatti remained in Porto and was kept as such. No modifications whatsoever. Still totally original and matching numbers! ( very, very rare for a Bugatti !) The history is well known by the Bugatti Owners Club and is also registered as such in their archives. This Bugatti Brescia drove the Portugese Rally do Norte in 1978, was also at the 1984 Vintage Portugese Grand Prix, was put on display at the Museo do Calamaro, exhibited in 2008 at the 5-th Motorclassico of Lisbon. In a way I am a bit sad that this magnificent totally original Bugatti Brescia was only for a couple of days here with me in the showroom of my classic car garage, because I immediately sold it to a great Bugatti connoisseur in Holland.
