Lancia Aprilia Farina Convertible 1948 RHD This is a one-off Aprilia Convertible coachbuilt as a demonstrator by Stabilimenti Farina for the Torino Motorshow of 1948. Bought on the Farina stand during the Torino Motorshow by the mother of the little boy which can be seen on the period photographs. This little boy is now in his seventies. Mid 2012 I could convince him to sell me this unique Lancia Aprilia. So: From 1948 until 2012 only 1 owner! Because this Aprilia was no longer driven for quite a while and just stored into the family home garage during the last 20 years it was immediately clear that this unique Lancia needed, and deserved, a complete and detailed restoration. Because Farina wanted to impress the visitors of the Torino Motorshow many details were really special such as the, with leather and plexi covered dashboard, the fully transparant plexy knobs on the whole dashboard, the period radio, etc... With the help of well reputed craftsmen in Italy I am taking care of an in all details meticulous restoration, respecting 100% the original specification of this motorshow-Aprilia. With the aluminium body now fully restored and recently painted again in the original off-white colour, I am impatient to see this unique Farina bodied Lancia Aprilia back in her former glory. I am sure you are too... If interested in this unique Aprilia Farina Convertibile, just contact us.
