Lancia Aurelia B20 SII

This Aurelia was sold by me approx. 10 years ago to one of my good Belgian customers and maintained by my workshop all those years in top condition. The previous owner insisted that his car passed the rather severe Belgian MOT-TUV as a standard car and not as a classic car. She recently passed this "controle technique"-test again without difficulty. A logic conclusion from this previous information is that this Aurelia drives wonderfully. In the early fifties, these Aurelia's were very advanced cars, and even now, driving them on the road is a surprising "modern" experience. Thanks to the 50/50 weight distribution, due to the gearbox and rear differential mounted together at the rear axle, the road behaviour is absolutely neutral. The 2 liter V6 all aluminium engine is a "state of the art" technology for those years and provides good performances. The body from this Aurelia is very sound, the paint shows some patina and so does the original but still presentable interior. The white steering wheel and beautiful instruments on the dashboard give this avant-garde Italian Coupé the classy touch only Italians can provide on a car.The sought after central gearchange is a nice extra.
