Lancia Flaminia Sport Zagato 3C 2.8 II-nd series 1964 LHD   If one car attracted the classic car connoisseurs like bees to a honey pot at the 2014 Techno Classica show of Essen, then it surely must have been this totally original, in Roma registered Lancia Flaminia Sport Zagato 3C , 2.8 II-nd series which was exhibited on the Zagato stand in the main hall 6. The II-nd series Flaminia Zagato is considered by many as the esthetically most pleasing design, and this late subseries with only 33 examples fitted from original with the powerful 3C 2.8 liter engine, also the most sought after variant. The fact that today this particular Lancia Flaminia is still totally original and matching numbers, in the very attractive colour combination of Argento Auteuil Metalizzato for the aluminium body combined with dark red leather for the interior, is the cherry on the cake!   One can easily imagine that the enthusiasts touring around this ultra-rare Flaminia Zagato at the Essen show were a bit frustrated when they heard that this exceptional Lancia belonged to one of the directors of Zagato and... not for sale...!
