MG M

The MG that started it all for this iconic British sportscar manufacturer. Incredibly basic but intelligent concept. Beautiful 850 cc. overhead cam 4 cylinder engine producing 27 HP, coupled to 3 speed gearbox. Cute 2 seater boattail coachwork in alumium by Carbodies. Weighing only just over 500 Kg. this Midget sportscar performs surprisingly well. After all in the those times this MG proved this convincingly during the double 12 of Brooklands and at Le Mans. The M also impressed due to her good traction during Trials. This particular MG was bought by one of my long time classic car friends in the early 90-ies in England. The original Brittish registration is: JK 2016. My friend improved this M where necessary and kept her lovingly in very fine condition during his ownership. Mechanically she is running like a fine watch. Cosmetically she wears a charming patina which suits this little MG fantastically.
