Porsche 356 Speedster 1957 LHD The Speedster is simply a sportscar icon! Initially created as a lower cost, somewhat spartan open-top sportscar for the US market, the Porsche 356 Speedster has now become one of the most desirable collectors models. As most Speedsters, also chassis number 84807 was initially sold new to the USA, but came back to Europe to become part of the famous Picasso family. Recently acquired by a Belgian collector, this latest owner took care of a complete, no expence spared, overhaul of this Porsche by a very well reputed coachbuilder (Carrosserie Piemontaise) and other specialist craftsmen in Brussels. Body structure and body lines are just perfect. The exterior presentation in triple black (paint, leather interior and hood) + chrome and fittings is simply concours. Also mechanically a big effort was made to obtain the best possible driving sensations available. To improve the initial mediocre 60 HP output, a for this flat-four ultimate evolution 912 based engine was installed producing a healthy 90 HP.
