Siata 508 Balilla Coppa D'Oro 1934 LHD Coup de foudre or Love at first sight... that is what I experienced when I stood in front of this deliciously charming Siata sportscar. Only by looking at the photographs you will understand... Can you imagine the effect when confronted face to face? This extremely elegant Siata elaborazione was conceived on the evenso rare & famous Fiat 508 Coppa D'Oro, furthermore benefitting from extra HP thanks to a special Siata cylinderhead. Only 3 such models were produced! In 1934 one of these 3 Siata Coppa D'Oro variants participated at the Mille Miglia. A spectacular average speed of nearly 91 Km/h was registered and top-speeds of 130 Km/h. A very, very charming original cosmetic presentation on a structural very sound steel/alu body and in excellent mechanical condition. Fitted with special Siata cylinderhead (very succesful modification for the Balilla which enabled Fiat to obtain record-times at several competition events) still with the correct Cozette carburettor. Very well documented with period black/white photos, letter of certification from Registro Fiat, magazine articles, full list of previous owners, etc...
