Lancia Flaminia 2.5 3C Zagato Sport 1959 LHD Chassis: 824 03 1908 Engine: 823 00 4422 This early covered-headlight model is one of only 99 produced. Every Lancia Flaminia fan agrees this I-st series Zagato styling is the most striking one. When I first saw the photo of this Flaminia stored for approx. 35 years under white sheets in the Greek barn, I knew immediately I would end-up buying this extremely rare Lancia. Today I am very happy to see this barnfind Flaminia Zagato standing in my classic car garage between all the other beauties. Close inspection reveals the car's generally unmolested original condition. Over the years, probably thanks to the dry and warm Greek climate, we discovered only here and there superficial surface rust on the steel structure of the car. The aluminium coachwork however seems still extremely sound. The original leather on seats and trim parts has also suffered over the years and is now sadly beyond saving. Very ingenius is the modification executed to the bonnet opening system which on this Flaminia Zagato opens exactly as on the 50-ies Aston Martin cars. A very handy system which probably finds its reason in the racing history this Flaminia was involved with when new. In my opinion, this specific Flaminia Zagato has a lot of potential, not only now, but even more for the future. We would love to execute, together with the future owner, a full restoration on this extremely rare Lancia. For you?
