Alfa Romeo 1300 GT Junior

As much as I was proud that my friend journalist, Mark Dixon from Octane magazines bought this elegant and user-friendly Alfa Bertone Coupé from me, I am evenso happy that this Pino Verde GT Junior came back to my personal classic car stable. Mark decided he would love to participate a little bit more to Vintage Sportscar Club events and therefore exchanged this Alfa for a....Ford A ! The hand-over took place last week in Calais on a very pleasing afternoon with lots of classic car love in the air. This week I am going through the process of having the Bertone Coupé again registered in Belgium so that I can continue to enjoy this lovely GT Junior. This model was exactly what I wanted to buy (a Pino Verde Alfa GT Junior) when I was 18 and...only had money for a bicycle ! I found this Alfa Romeo 3 years ago through a Dutch enthusiast who could import this totally original and superb condition Alfa Romeo Coupé from Italy. No corrosion, no accident damage. Original paint and interior. Very clean engine bay and healthy mechanics. My workshop overhauled the brakes just before Mark bought the car from me approx. 1 year ago. Mark treated the Alfa to a good wax-oil treatment to keep the sound and totally original body in her super condition. I love to drive this little Alfa and climb up and down through the power output (90HP) by playing the excellent 5-speed gearbox. A true "Alfa con brio" !
