You certainly have noticed over the years that from this exclusive sporstcar manufacturer the Martin DB MKIII is my favourite model "tout court". I think that approx. 10 of those have passed through my hands in the last 2 years... From this parade of DB MKIIIs this particular dark blue example has certainly been one of the nicest. It is with great pleasure that after a part exchange, I welcome this 1st series DB MKIII back into my classic car stable. This original French Aston Martin was previously owned by a French Prince and always very well maintained. The more , this car underwent a complete restoration recently and after 2 years of being sparingly used, the condition can today still be described as immaculate or nearly 100% concours. Finished in dark blue with slightly patinated magnolia leather interior, the presentation of this Aston Martin is extremely attractive and stylish. Concours engine compartiment (with completely overhauled engine only last year), immaculate underneath recently treated with a thin layer of transparent wax, new silver wire wheels, stainless steel "sports"exhaust, etc...You will have understood by now, this Aston Martin is in perfect nick. Upgraded with a disc-brake conversion on the front axle this SI DB MKIII offers now all the strong points of the later SII but maintains her early looks charm. Believe me, I can assure any interested party it is extremely difficult to find an original LHD European DB MKIII with all these qualities on the classic car market.
