1963 Ducati Aurea 125
In 1963, Signore Gastone Galleti bought his first motorbike; a Ducati Aurea 125. As a young guy, he had saved some money and decided to make his first big purchase. His new Ducati was his pride and joyfully he rode it through the Arezzo region of Italian Tuscany. Without knowing it, he was making memories for a lifetime.
After years full of adventures, he decided to replace his motorbike with a new one but his first motorbike did not go away. In the end, they had been through a lot together. For years, the Aurea disappeared in the shed.
Years went by... Gastone had owned the bike for a good 40 years of which quite a few years had been stored in his shed. The bike desperately needed a refresh. Due to the emotional value and memories Signore Galleti had with his bike, he decided to have the Ducati restored.
In 2013, 50 years after Gastone bought the bike, we came across it in Italy. Immediately in love, we decided to bring this beauty to Belgium.
Anno 2023, this motorbike is 60 years old and is still in complete and very nice condition. Including original first Italian number plate and registration certificate, this is a unique opportunity to purchase a collector's piece with a very nice story. Perfect to use as a design piece/eyecatcher or use it to drive some classic kilometres.
