Jaguar E-type SI 4,2 Coupé

Original Belgian E-type which has always been in the ownership of dedicated Jaguar enthusiasts. Matching nrs car. Bought by us approx 3 years ago and completely overhauled for one of our very good Brussels based customers. A rewarding job to do because we could start from an excellent base and bring this sought-after SI E type 4,2 Coupé model to her actual pristine condition regardless of cost. This very detailed overhaul resulted in a classic beauty admired by everyone! Finished in what is considered for this model the best colour combination of 'gun metal grey' with red leather interior. In the last couple of years, our specialised classic car workshop maintained this E-type in tip-top condition. During this period, I had regularly the chance to drive this SI 4,2 Coupé myself. A pleasure, I enjoyed from the first to the last minute at her wheel. I was only 6 when the 1-st E-type was presented to the public at the 1961 Geneva motorshow, but as a boy very much interested in the subject, I remember vividly the sensations this sportscar caused in the press. Encoutering this 'leaping cat' a few months later on the Belgian roads and now, as a middle aged man, being able to restore these iconic sportscars in my own workshop and enjoying them whenever I like on the road... Yes, you have guessed it by now, for me she is 'my all times great'! And... I am absolutely certain I am not the only one thinking this way...
