If there is a Jaguar MKII I can recommend someone, than it is surely this example. Why ? Because we ourselves in our specialised classic car workshop restored and upgraded this original Belgian MKII from top to bottom. According to the rules of good craftsmanship, we started from a to bare metal stripped body and reconditionned every nut and bolt. Doing this, we seized the opportunity to execute at the same time some intelligent upgrades such as power assisted rack & pinion steering, Getrag 5-speed box, Coopercraft brakes, lead-free conversion of engine, full flow stainless steel exhaust + efficient heat protection, installation of alternator, etc... What makes this project even more interesting is that this MKII was fitted from original with the very much appreciated full metal sliding sunroof. We finished this Jaguar in her original colour combination of opalescent silver grey with aviation blue interior which in my opinion suites this MKII very well. Reconditionned wallnut veneer on dashboard and other characteristic wood decoration panels + fitting of 4 brand-new chrome wire wheels are examples of the great care we took in the "finishing touch" of this comprehensive restoration project. All bills and work sheets are available + many photographs proving convincingly the very detailed work and ...astronomous cost. With practically zero km after the restoration was finished, this MKII is offered for sale. Allow yourself a nice present at, considering the huge total restoration costs, a sensible price of 68.000 euro
