Jaguar XK140 Roadster 1954 LHD When I admire this Jaguar Roadster I associate her immediately with "Ever Green". In the figurative way: The XK140 Roadster is indeed considered as the best XK model for looks, performance, seating position & drivers comfort and also rarity. Literally this XK140 Roadster looks very attractive in her from original color combination of British Racing Green and tan leather interior. The wire-wheels in the same BRG tone suit, in my opinion, this sporty XK perfectly. From the Jaguar Heritage Certificate I learn that chassis (A 810603 DN) and engine (G 1890-8) numbers are matching and that the last Dutch owner restored this XK respecting rigorously authenticity. Inspecting this XK140 Roadster inside-out on the ramps in my classic car garage shows clearly that the restoration was executed in a very professional way. Very clean and undamaged chassis in satin black with nicely detailed suspension, steering system, fuel and brake tubing, electricity, etc... Job well done! Also cosmetically this XK140 Roadster is a real beauty. Very sound and straight body panels, well assembled together with correct gaps, excellent paint finish, nice chrome, all new rubbers, fully retrimmed interior in tan leather with matching carpets, new black double duck hood, etc... After her nut and bolt restoration this Jaguar XK140 Roadster has hardly been driven because the previous owner prefers to concentrate on his pre-war classics. So, time that someone seizes the opportunity to enjoy this "Ever Green" XK this season on the road. You?
