I discovered this MG TF in a derilict private garage in one of the residential area's of Brussels approx 7-8 years ago. This original Belgian MG had been in the same ownership of a sportscar enthusiast for nearly 40 years! When we towed this TF after years of immobilisation back into the daylight, I was impressed by the originality and structural soundness of this MG TF. A perfect restoration project. My good friend Jacky, who is a talented engineer, thought it was the ideal project for him to concentrate on during his retirement. Looking at the car now after years of patient dedication to his restoration project, I can assure anyone: he did a marvellous job! Nut and bolt restored into the smallest details, respecting rigorously the authenticity - confirmed by a 'Heritage Certificate' - of this MG, this TF turns out to be a stunning beauty. Impossible to point-out on this typical 50-ies sportscar an element that wasn't taken care of. Chassis, body, paint-work, brightwork, trim, dashboard, all mechanical components, all electrical components, full suspension, complete brake-system, etc, etc... Absolutely everything is or looks NEW! This matching numbers MG TF, sold new in Belgium in 1955, looks the full 100% the same as when this sportscar was presented 54 years ago to her 1st owner. The original colour combination of dark green metallic with olive-green trim,suits this TF marvellously well. Our classic car team took pleasure in following-up the restoration, Jacky very much enjoyed doing the job, but the lucky one will be the new owner of this superb TF.
