This is an exclusive sportscar which surely will be appreciated by the Aston Martin purists. In 1953, chassis LML 50/342 was sold new in a LHD form to an enthusiast in Casablanca-Morocco. Only a couple of years later, this DB2 Coupé is campaigned in several sporty events (sprints & gymkana's )in the USA. Little by little, intelligent race modifications are executed to this sportscar. She obtaines a stiffened front suspension with double shock absorbers, 3 double Weber carburettors replace the twin standard SU's. A better fuel supply is provided by 2 electric pumps. DB3S camshafts are responsible for higher and faster lift of valves, etc... In 1990, this DB2 Coupé comes back to Europe and obtaines a 2nd standard engine, overhauled and tested by the Aston Martin factory, instead of the sharp competition one which continues to accompany the car. Whether a future owner desires to continue to use this DB2 in a sporty way or just for touring, will decide how this Aston Martin has to be tuned. Our specialised classic car workshop could of course assist you with this preparation work. Nicely presented in Goodwood green with an attractive Havana brown leather interior, from this LHD DB2 Coupé emanates a terible charm ! I am sure an Aston Martin connoisseur will succumb easily...
