Rare (perfectly restored) Aston Martin DB2/4 MK I

I am very happy to see yet another DB 2/4 DHC pass through our hands (of the only 102 convertibles produced at least 10 transitted through our classic car garage the past 30 years).

Going through the voluminous history file, it is reassuring to notice that as well the classic car professionals involved as the successive owners were either reputed Aston Martin specialists or renowned Aston Martin collectors.

This Aston Martin was sold new in England as an Ivory over Red DHC in RHD. When imported in 1991 into Germany, the new owner embarks on a full restoration and at the same time converts the car to LHD.

Looking at the very neat and gleaming presentation of this Aston Martin, today the only conclusion one can make is that this DB 2/4 perfectly illustrates the typical “Deutsche Gründligkeit” of the restoration executed more than 20 years ago!
