Delage D6 Chapron-style Tourer 1930 RHD This Delage has already seen quite a bit of the world! After being coachbuilt to the specific requirements of a Maharadja as a touring saloon this Delage D6 was initially shipped to India. The Delage came back to Europe in 1933 and stored through WW II. In 2005 this Delage benefitted from a complete restoration, the manufacture of a Chapron-style tourer body and preparation for the centenary celebration in 2007 of the famous Peking to Paris raid. Mr. Mike Bradbrook made it easily and passed his trustworthy Delage into the hands of Mr. Peter Roberts who prepared the car once again for the same Peking to Paris epic adventure in 2010. This time the Bentley specialists "VBE Restorations" took care of the job and invested considerable time and loads of Mr. Roberts' money to make sure the Delage performed well. Once again the Delage didn't disappoint and obtained a silver medal for demonstrating an impeccable reliability throughout the 13.749 Km covered in approx. 1 month. After the rally the Delage went back to "VBE Restorations" for a complete check-up, servicing and some repairs. For the 2013 edition a Belgian team is about to embark for the 3-rd edition of this fabulous Peking to Paris rally. Our classic car workshop "Twin Cam" will take care of the preparation. The new owners and we at Marreyt Classics & Twin Cam look all forward to that new adventure!
