Jaguar XK120

Chassis: 677463 engine: VAS 1158-8 A few months ago I discovered this stylish Jaguar XK120 Convertible hidden away in a corner of a customers garage. For more than 20 years now I have been in regular touch with this well respected Brussels based aristocrat and fanatic Jaguar collector. When you know that in the 50-ies his mother drove a Jaguar XK120 Coupé it is easy to understand that this now elderly gentleman has been all of his life a very enthusiast Jaguar collector storing his treasures in garages all over Brussels. Amongst his many classic Jaguars also this XK120 Convertible recently emerged. Very interesting is the fact that this original Belgian XK120 (with KM speedo) was upgraded at some point with the ultra rare XK150 S 3,8 engine fed by the typical triple SU 2 inch carburettors. Another exceptionnal feature is the professionally completely reinforced chassis and upgraded suspension. All these special items clearly showing that this XK120 was used by a real Jaguar connoisseur.
