This particular car was first registered on the 20th May 1937, and remained in the same well known family ownership until the late 1970s and has only had two owners since. It has been in the present owner's possession since 1983, is in very good mechanical condition and shows the patination of a totally original and much loved car. Recently, this fantastic Lagonda was treated to an in depth general service. I drove the Rapide on a dry and sunny day last week and I am still very impressed by the ride ! She really goes like an inter-city train ! Endless power, precise steering, well set up suspension, smooth gearbox, powerful brakes.
