Lancia Aurelia B24S Conv

Lancia Aurelia B24S Convertible 1958 LHD Chassis: B24S 1633 Engine: B24 1756 This B24S Convertible, one of only 521 produced, was sold new in 1958 to a vineyard owner & businessman in Firenze as a present from his wife for his 50-th anniversary. I still have the Italian libretto with registration FI 869660. Unfortunately he died only 7 years later and the Lancia resided many years untouched in the vineyard building of the family estate. Until a nephew from the family, and keen Lancia enthusiast, could convince his niece, who inherited this B24 Convertible from her father, to sell him the B24 Convertible. This Lancia collector from Lausanne was very pleased to introduce this family B24S Convertible to his Lancia collection. Knowing where to go and what do to with Lancia's which need "some tender love & care", he reconditionned his uncles' B24S Convertible in a way only the Swiss collectors can (with Swiss watch precision!). Bare metal respray in the original color, new leather trim, new chrome, new stainless steel exhaust, new black dubble duck mohair hood, etc... The result is a magnificent B24S Convertible, showing proudly her perfect body-lines, with factory hard-top, with original Blaupunkt radio, matching numbers for chassis engine, gearbox, etc... and having covered from new only 85.000 Km. We inspected this Lancia in detail in my classic car workshop. We know classic Lancia's very well and restored several. I can only say that I have never seen before such an undamaged and well cared for low-mileage B24!
