Admire with me this unique piece of Lancia history. Of this extremely elegant Pinin Farina designed Aurelia, only 3 cars were fabricated of which only 2 are still known to exist. This Lancia was named "Rosa d'Oro" because she won this title at the Geneva Concours D'Elegance in 1952. Found by an Italian Lancia enthusisast in a somewhat neglected state, this "Rosa d'Oro" was completely rebuild by classic Lancia professionals several years ago. The nut & bolt restoration is very well documented with lots of photographs. Looking at the car at present, she has gained again a charming zest of patina which makes her, in my opinion, even more attractive. Mechanically, she is still in a first class condition because after her restoration, she was mainly used for Lancia Club meetings. This "Rosa d'Oro" can be found in any Lancia book and represents one of the most exclusive Aurelia models ever produced. Apart from her for the early 50ies very airy modern lines, demonstrating the skills of Maestro Pinin Farina, this Aurelia features of course also the typical technical Aurelia caracteristics (aluminium V6 2liter - transaxle gearbox and rear axle - all round independant suspension, etc...) A perfect Lancia addition to anyones prestigious "one-off" collection.
