Very unusual to find an original Belgian Lotus Esprit in this LHD James Bond-version.The more, thanks to the low kms (74.000 km) and the obviously sheltered life of this sportscar, the exterior and interior presentation is still super, close to new ! When I bought this Esprit approx. 1 year ago, the engine suffered from a holed piston... Through my classic car connections, I came in touch with the German classic Lotus specialists Ramspott & Brandt in Wiesbaden. With a lot of dedication, they rebuild the 4 cylinder, 2.2L Twin Cam engine (with super quality Mahle pistons this time!), the turbo, airconditionning, suspension and the whole technical set-up of my Esprit Turbo. At the end, themselves qualified this Lotus Esprit Turbo as the best example which left their classic Lotus workshop until now ! Quite a compliment... This eighties, very performant (210 HP) super sportscar is a real pleasure to drive. Thanks to a genius designed chassis configuration, she glues on the road. The sensational Giugiaro design makes this SI Esprit Turbo, 25 years after her 1st commercialisation from new still now, a real head turner ! Little by little, classic car connoisseurs are stongly attracted to this Esprit, certainly so to the SI Turbo because of her very advanced general technical concept and angular stealth shaped, original purity of design. Octane magazine also recently dedicated a whole issue to this specific Lotus model. Your chance to experience super quality classic sportscar sensations at an affordable price.
