1992 Morgan +4
The Morgan +4 was introduced to the market in 1950 as a more high-performance version of the 4/4.
Equipped with a larger displacement engine, the +4 provided the answer to the much-requested demand for performance increases. The chassis was strengthened, suspension and brakes improved.
The +4 became a formula for success!
On 7 October 1991, the Morgan factory in Malvern, UK, received the order for this Morgan +4. A galvanised chassis was selected and the build of this "Moggie" began. For the colours, a classy combination of Royal Ivory paintwork on a dark blue leather interior was opted for. Inside, the interior was finished with a walnut wood dashboard.
From 1988, Morgan used Rover engines when building its +4 models. A Rover M16 engine was installed in this car. A reliable and high-performance engine that puts out a decent 140hp with 2.0L of atmospheric displacement. The +4 provides the necessary kilometres of playful driving pleasure due to its beautiful weight-to-power ratio.
This Morgan still has its original manual, service book and a photo book containing pictures of the car's construction in the Morgan factory. In short, a fun and complete Morgan with limited mileage. Only 26,000 original miles which are nicely documented.
