This Porsche 356 Cabriolet is one of the 1.240 examples pre-A typical “Knickscheibe” convertibles built between April 1952 and July 1955 by Reutter.
The “Porsche Zertifikat” confirms the car was sold new on the 24-th of June 1953 to the Porsche dealer Hahn in Stuttgart/Germany and is today still completely correct and matching numbers (except from an exterior body colour change from original Mode Grey to Black).
The well documented history file tells in fact… a long story of love! All the successive owners in Germany, Japan, Great Britain, Germany and finally Belgium took very well care of this rare pre-A Porsche 356 Cabriolet with well documented restoration reports from 20 years ago in Germany and recently once again in Belgium.
