In the prewar automotive history only a few models have succeeded to obtain a mythical status. For the USA this was without any doubt the Ford A, in Britain the little Austin Seven and for continental Europe the honour went to the French Citroën C3 'Trefle' as one of the most popular production cars ever. In my long carreer as a classic car specialist I have been fortunate to drive the most exotic cars ever produced, which I experienced as a great honour. But amongst the classic cars providing me the most relaxed fun, I must undoubtedly count this 1923 Citroën C3 'Trefle'. This charming little torpedo was many years part of a varied classic car collection of one of my classic car friends. Because the owner decided to go and live in Canada, he asked me to find another enthusiast willing to take care of his little beauty. This 'Trefle' is in excellent mechanical condition and has a very charming presentation. The little Citroën has a very postive attitude and her 4 cylinder engine ( 852 cc.) starts very enthusiastic every time I ask her to. Easy gearchange, effective brakes, precise steering, excellent suspension. No rattles, just smoothly building-up speed once in 3-rd gear. A big smile shared by the driver + passengers aswell as the unlookers!
